The first Summit of this year’s Cambridgeshire Student Forum took place on Thursday 14th November 2025 and a group of our students’ representatives participated actively in the summit sharing best practices at St Andrews College! They talked about how the school is culturally diverse, with 95% of the students come from international backgrounds, and the interconnectivity between staff and students. Student comments have brought about new policies and changes in the college, including prayer rooms and study rooms in the institution. There are Prefects who meet every two weeks with the Deputy Head, Pastoral staff, Boarding staff and others who can help make the changes that students want to see – these meetings demonstrate real unity within the college that the students always feel heard and listened to. They also have a variety of clubs including academic, mentoring, and discussions where people are able to express their views.
Thank you: Antonia (Hong Kong), Ava (Mexico), Abubakir (Kazakhstan) and Arseni (Belarus)!
