St Andrew’s College Cambridge was formed in 1976 as a tutorial college offering a warm, friendly international environment for students wanting to study in the UK prior to university. The college currently comprises students from 27 countries worldwide, aged between 15 and 22 years, attending its Pre A-Level, GCSE, A-Level and University Foundation courses and has significant expertise in looking after international students and making them feel at home. Putting the student first is at the core of the St Andrew’s College Cambridge ethos and all the staff are united in helping each individual student thrive academically, socially, culturally and responsibly.
Academic results are excellent with a very high percentage of students going onto university and the majority being offered places at Russell Group universities.

It is extremely safe to walk or cycle around as well as being easy to get to – only 50 minutes from central London.
The college’s top quality staff, a number of whom have taught or studied themselves at Oxbridge, are passionate about the subjects they teach and inspire the students to explore above and beyond the curriculum. With small class sizes students here are given extensive individual support and guidance to enable them to achieve the grades they require.
Weekly sessions with personal tutors help students remain on track with their academic studies and progress is carefully monitored with clear direction given on how to improve. Tutors also provide university preparation, taking students right the way through the UCAS process. Those aiming for top G5 universities (Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College, LSE and UCL) are paired up with a Cambridge University PhD student to provide additional advice and support.
