Students below the age of 18 can choose to take the St Andrew’s English entry test, based on similar criteria to IELTS, to be eligible for both a place and/or a scholarship.
The scholarship policy applied to Pre A-level, GCSE, A-level and Foundation courses for both September and January intake.
Scholarships are offered to the student for the whole duration of study at St Andrew’s. However, scholarships are reviewed annually and are subject to good performance and behaviour and scholars are expected to help represent the college. To obtain a continuation of the scholarship a student would need at least AAB in the first year of A-level and an attendance level of at least 95% in all subjects.
If taking a course or subjects for A-Level that does not include Maths, the Maths test is not taken into consideration. The student may need to present a portfolio/essay for review instead.
Scholarships are NEVER guaranteed and should never ever be promised. These will be given out at the discretion of the college only.
