We publish articles on our website and also on our social media channels on a regular basis to keep our community up to date with activities taking place. In addition, we send out a regular newsletter to our parents, pupils and staff. There are videos and testimonials on the site from both our current and former students if you would like to see what they say about St Andrew’s and what they have enjoyed and valued about being at the college.

This year St Andrew's College Cambridge launched their Dukes Young Leaders Award, which comprises of four different levels, gold, platinum, diamond and crown. Students will be working towards completing the DYLA alongside their studies at St Andrews.
Opportunities to complete ...sections of the awards are offered to students both inside and outside the classroom. We are delighted to say that we have already been able to award 12 students with DYLA certificates, with three of those accomplishing the highest level, Crown.
It's been great to see the students engage in the award and share all of the amazing things that they have been doing. The award challenges students to seek out opportunities and experiences that support them to develop lifelong skills as well as giving them fun memories along the way.
We love getting to see our alumni as the embark on the next step of their journey. Before Christmas, our UCAS & Careers Adviser, had the pleasure of bumping into one of our alumni as she visited Regent's University London. Our alumni, Arjun joined Regents University this September to study... Fashion Marketing. We are pleased that he is very happy with his choice and found a community of welcoming students and professors!
Just before Christmas, 3 of our students planned and delivered a diversity workshop to year 8 students at a local secondary school. The workshop consisted of learning about the Chinese language, writing using Chinese characters and sharing traditions. Our students did a fantastic job creating an ...engaging and fun session that students enjoyed.
Last week we recognised all of the students' achievements over this term at our termly celebration assembly. Students were nominated for their fantastic contributions in lessons, attitude to learning, and work outside the classroom. We also awarded our first Dukes Young Leaders Awards ...certificates. Three students have attained the Crown Award, our highest level, for their outstanding commitment to leadership, service and entrepreneurship.
Students were getting into the Christmas spirit at the Wimpole Christmas Lights last week. They enjoyed the spectacular illumination trail, laser light shows and of course meeting Father Christmas. 🎅
We are very excited to see our new Badminton kit is coming along nicely...
We can't wait to see them. Stay tuned 🏸

Some of the experiences that students have taken part in include summer leadership courses, outreach at a local secondary school where St Andrews students planned and led a diversity workshop, teaching year 8 students some basic Chinese characters, phrases and sharing cultural traditions, and joining residential activity weekends. Other students have represented the school in different sports, with some taking on the role of captain.
We have an active student council who are great communicators, and vital in helping shape the future of the college. These students will be developing their leadership skills by running assemblies and supporting with house challenges. The skills they build upon whilst fulfilling this role are a key part of the DYLA.
